2月21日（月）、神言会ローマ総本部総顧問のアーリンド・ディアス神父が視察官として本校を訪問されました。
1校時目の全校朝礼で挨拶をされ激励のお言葉をいただきました。
また、生徒を代表し生徒会長の小倉君が挨拶しました。

Father Dias,
Thank you very much for visiting our school today.
Nagasaki Nanzan Junior and Senior High School was founded with the school motto “Hominis Dignitati” or “For Human Dignity.” With that motto in mind, both the students and teachers are trying hard day after day to develop ourselves into people with good personalities, broad horizons and strong sense of responsibility.
Those efforts have resulted in a lot of graduates being admitted into many prestigious universities and colleges, and many of our sports teams and cultural clubs winning prizes. The name of Nagasaki Nanzan is known as one of the best private schools in Nagasaki both in study and sports.
On behalf of the students of Nagasaki Nanzan, I would like to ask you to consider giving us a holiday to commemorate your visit from Rome.
Last but not least, we hope you and the members of the Divine Word Society will have happy and prosperous days for ever.

本日は遠いところから、私たちの長崎南山学園をご訪問いただきありがとうございます。
私たち南山生は、学園の教育目標である「人間の尊厳のために」を胸に刻み、高い人格、広い教養、強い責任感を持つことができる人間に成長できるよう、日々努力を重ねて頑張っています。その結果として、学業では、毎年たくさんの先輩方が国公立大学をはじめとする数多くの大学へ進学を果たし、また、部活動でも県内有数の実績を誇る強豪校としての歴史を刻んできました。
そんな私たちが、今日アーリンド・ディアス神父のご訪問を祝し、この南山の歴史の1ページに加えるために是非、ご訪問の記念にお休みを1日いただけないでしょうか。
